I live with my husband and kitty on an acreage just outside of Onoway, Alberta, Canada. We started building in July of 2020 and each month brings something new to be completed.  We did hire a contractor to do the "big" stuff, but my husband has finished the entire interior single-handedly.  We still have some work to do, but it's home, and we're so happy it's ours.

I've been knitting & crocheting since I was about 8 years old.  I was so lucky to have my mom teach me.  For many years, I focused on crochet but picked up my knitting needles again in the fall of 2019.  When we moved to the cabin in December 2020, I decided it was time to share my love of high quality, functional knits, and Pine Cabin Stitches came to be.

All of the items you see on this site were knit in the loft of the cabin, the quiet, cozy space where I get to create.  I use high quality yarns (mostly merino wool and alpaca) because it's important to me that your item is the best it can be - long-lasting, beautiful, unique, and something you are proud to wear or use.  I hope you find something you love, or that I can create that perfect item for you.
